MySource Talent’s Business Model starts with a unique collaborative approach.  The foundation of MySource Talent is to earn referrals through our network of satisfied customers.  We work with highly talented consultants, and progressive clients who understand that investing time in a collaborative partnership assures that everyone gets back exactly what they give.  Through a series of questions, some brainstorming sessions and sometimes even “soul searching” type discussions, we determine the soft skills and technical skills that set the consultant apart – from both the consultant’s perspective and/or the hiring manager’s perspective.  MST works in partnership to create a cohesive work environment that brings both parties closer to their vision of success.   Those people who spend the time with MySource Talent Practice Managers get what they want because we fully understand the requirements and/or the perfect opportunity to bring about a positive result.

 

 

How we came to be

 

Having spent the last twelve years in the Staffing Industry our Founder  came to the conclusion that the industry was heavily skewed toward knee-jerk reactions based on quantity, not quality.  This slowly resulted in an unstable business community – causing deep cycles of talent movement, leaving top employers in a critical state.  When there’s a too much “hurry” to get people in seats, there is a tremendous breakdown in quality. 

 

Quality vs. Quantity ~ a rare thing in the ever-changing world of staffing.  When a consulting agency makes the kind of investment that truly matches what the top talent in the area wants with the premier employers in the area, we then see the leveling and stability in our business community.

 

 

 

Management Bio

Teena Christel, Management, Consultant & Business Development

Having won numerous top honor awards and received regular advancement throughout her career, it was clear that Ms. Christel knew a little something that many others did not.  It was about listening, caring and doing the right thing for people.

While managing more than eighteen staff in two PNW staffing offices, Ms. Christel successfully served on several committees to create large scale corporate transformations.  Ms. Christel has always promoted and orchestrated a strong recruiter-driven model - which meant proactive recruiting and marketing top consultants to the best employers as opposed to passively waiting for the right jobs to come along.

In addition, she was instrumental in building and implementing two nation-wide Training Programs in her career.  The most recent was a large scale (30+ offices) Training Program implementation.  The first was with a large Pacific Northwest Financial Institution.  Both were unique and customized Training Programs created to improve the understanding of basic business processes, cross-selling techniques and customer relationships with clients and consultants alike. 

Prior to the last 12 years in the staffing industry, Ms. Christel owned and operated a Specialty Advertising & Marketing firm. The ten years prior to that were spent in the financial industry – 5 years in Human Resources and another 5 years in Sales Management and Training.
