In working with staffing agencies, high-level talent is typically provided a laundry list of available positions. A promise of a call down the road, etc. propogates a revolving door effect with little time to build a partnership based on what high level talent really wants & needs to be successful in their entire life.
With options being limited to the opportunities available at any particular moment in time, consultants are forced to “settle”. When we settle, we are not passionate about what we are doing or what we stand for and it shows up somewhere in our life.
We all want to work with positive people who are in their field because they love it and take great pride in doing their best work. If it's just about money, or just about a title, eventually we burn ourselves out; because what we do every day can no longer fulfill our most basic of needs. Consequently, it affects our own level of productivity, which eventually effects the productivity of our immediate environment and ultimately, the business community in general.
It is our belief that, over time, this lack of sufficient “merging” of passion and skill, will lead to an overall unhappy life, in general.
